For decades, Range Master Mark Owensby, a retired Illinois State Trooper and award-winning competitor, has been training individuals, law enforcement agencies and other groups, on the safe and proper methods of marksmanship. His thorough technique, which includes both classroom and hands-on instruction, will be a sure-fire way to learn a wide variety of skills from basic firearm handling to advanced competitive techniques.

With safety always at the top of his mind, Owensby knows that proper technique is comprised of a number of factors including grip, stance, aim and others. He has the patience to help novices – both adults and children – get comfortable around weapons and avoid developing bad habits. He can also identify and re-train the bad habits other shooters have picked up along the way.

Private Lessons
With a one-on-one approach, Owensby will evaluate the firearms skills you posses and develop a customized program designed to provide the specific results you are seeking.

Group Training
A variety of group classes will be offered by Owensby. Class sizes will remain small, ensuring significant attention for each group member.
